Course description:

This course is designed as an overview of the theory and applications of statistical analysis. Topics include general descriptive statistics, probability, discrete distributions, normal distribution, the central limit theorem, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and linear regression. Emphasis will be placed on developing conceptual understanding, model selection, and interpretation skills.

Prerequisities:

MAC 1105 with a minimum grade of C.
