MAC 2233 specific office hours:
I will hold a problem solving session specifically for MAC 2233 students once a week.
The tentative time for this session is slated for Tuesday 3:15-4:15 pm. The room will be announced as soon as I can reserve one.
MAC 2233 is an introduction to the techniques of calculus of primary use to business students. Topics include: differentiation and integration of algebraic functions with applications, exponential and logarithmic functions with applications to finance and economics. This course is NOT equivalent to MAC 2311. Satisfactory score on the placement exam or successful completion of College Algebra will be a prerequisite.
The textbook used for this course is divided into two parts. Part One is a review of Algebra and will be reviewed only as necessary during the semester. Since the pre-requisite for this course is College Algebra, the students enrolled in this course should already be familiar with the topics discussed in the two chapters of Part One. Part Two of the textbook is the study of Calculus.
MAC 1105 with a minimum grade of C.
